2007 Arenac County Calendar of Events

 

Special Notice:

 

The AuGres-Sims Athletic Booster Club holds weekly Bingos on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m., Friday at 6:45 p.m. [for AuGres Library] and *Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus Hall located in the Pioneer Village Mall/AuGres.  *Proceeds benefit school athletics, equipment and sports camps.

 

AuGres-VFW holds weekly Bingos on Tuesdays, 7 p.m. at its Post in AuGres. Every Friday, 4-8 p.m. Fish Fry featuring crab legs, shrimp or fish w/buffet.

 

Alzheimer’s Support Group meets at the Omer Senior Center, 1:00 p.m. the third Thursday of each month.  Any interested person is welcome to attend.

 

Arenac County Historical Museum maintains public hours Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor Day; see schedule below for monthly programs.

 

Mary Johnston Memorial Library [Standish], Pre-School Story Hour every Tuesday, 2 p.m.

 

Standish Area Chamber of Commerce meets at noon, 4th Tuesday each month at Chemical Bank/Standish.

 

Travel Club meets at the Omer Senior Center, 10:00 a.m. the last Wednesday of each month.
